2011 Tundra Greensboro Winston Salem High Point Triad area.

Toyota has announced several important mechanical and feature changes for the 2011 Tundra light-duty pickup truck that include discontinuing an ashtray as a standard feature and replacing the cigarette lighter with a 12-volt power outlet. The headrests have been revised with a new design. Mechanical changes include updating the base 4.0-liter V-6 engine with a dual VVT-i system with roller rockers and hydraulic lifters that can variably adjust both the intake and exhaust valves for enhanced performance and efficiency.

To help improve towing safety, trailer-sway control programming and brake override technology have been added as standard equipment. Even though its rivals have all received makeovers recently, the 2011 Toyota Tundra's strong power-trains, spacious cabs and excellent towing ability make it a top choice for a workhorse pickup.
The Tundra offers Regular cab, Double cab and CrewMax. The 2011 Tundra Double Cab 4X2 is a 4-door, up to 6 passengers collection of full-size available in 5 trims, ranging the Tundra Grade 4.0L to 5.7L limited. Upon introduction, the Tundra-Grade 4.0L is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter, V6, 236, engine power reaches 16 mpg city and 20 mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The Limited 5.7L is equipped with a standard 5.7-liter, V8, 381 horsepower that achieves 14 mpg city and 18 mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
